A slim but oversized volume, it is filled with gorgeous reproductions of works by numerous artists, some covering two pages. Many of the plates are of works not ordinarily seen elsewhere. There is little text (though what there is, is well done and precise); most of the book is simply a feast of sumptuous art on glossy paper. (Amazon review)
