There is lots to love in this gourmet basket! Start with a $50 gift certificate for cheese (or a cheese lovers dining experience) at Wedgewood Cheese Bar, a new European-inspired gem in Carrboro. Cheese will pair perfectly with a bottle of 2023 Reverdy Sancerre Rouge, a lovely pinot noir from the Loire Valley in France. Db Sutton Salon & Spirits has provided a bottle of Perlant pear juice to tide you over until you can visit their store on Franklin Street to pick up your bottle of wine.

Cheese will make a great centerpiece on your beautiful handcrafted walnut/cherry/padouk wooden board. Surround it with local artisan crackers; honey for cheese; and fig, sour cherry and Calabrian chili orange spreads that can be displayed in three small ceramic serving dishes, each with a uniquely beautiful design. Other delightful food items in the basket include dark chocolate covered Montmorency cherries and two bottles of Savannah Bee Honey BBQ sauce (mustard and sweet) that pair perfectly with everything.

For the kitchen there is a handmade ceramic bacon cooker that cooks up to eight slices of bacon while catching drips, a Zeroll ice cream scoop that uses a liquid filled heat conductive handle to facilitate scooping, and a Rabbit wine aerator that speeds up the decanting process for that older bottle of wine.
