As the book title clearly states, it answers questions about the oceans of the earth (each one is unique). This is one in the series of THE HANDY ANSWER BOOK SERIES. There are 14 chapters plus the index. Chapter headings include "The Physical Oceans," "The Ancient Oceans," "Fish & Other Ocean Life," and others. It's a great reference book for book children and adults. Even if you don't have a specific question, it's easy to sit down and read a few pages about something of interest. Black & white pictures.
