Portrait of a Living Marsh is the celebration of a unique nature environment in the Northeastern part of Poland-the marshes along the Biebrza and Narew rivers. During two weeks 32 artists from 15 different countries, on a field expedition organized by the Artists for Nature Foundation and World Wide Fund for Nature International, wandered through and round this 100,000 ha area.
